DATA OPERATIONS

Matching, enrichment, deduplication, verification. All four can be counted one by one in the ledger below, and the Data Services card on /en/solutions/ lists the same four.

## Is your address data ready for analysis?

The question is not ours: /en/solutions/ introduces this solution with the line “Is my address data ready for analysis?”. This page answers it.

Next Geo’s Data Services is a suite of specialized solutions designed to make your location-based data management more accurate, meaningful, and usable. Whether it’s customer lists, branch addresses, or field records — turn your data into a powerful part of your digital strategies with these services.

3INPUT TYPES

3STEPS

2SAMPLE OUTPUTS

All three numbers can be counted from this page: three input types (customer lists, branch addresses, field records), a three-step start, and two sample outputs — the ledger and the batch summary.

FOUR DATA OPERATIONS · ON ONE ROW

### Four operations, two jobs.

Two of them add what your list never had; two of them take out what it already had wrong. The ledger shows all four against the same sample address row: what the operation does on the left, what changed on that row on the right.

OPERATIONS LEDGER Sample row · Kadıköy, İstanbul SAMPLE

Next Geo answers the question at the top of this page in three words: make the data more accurate, meaningful, and usable. The four data operations divide between those three words.

INCOMING ROW

#### Meaningful: adds what the list does not have

Matching and enrichment bring in what your list never had: a link to points in the same category, and the surrounding data layers.

Matching

NEXT GEO DATA LIBRARY

Your company’s point lists are matched with points in the same category (e.g., stores, pharmacies, gas stations, etc.) in Next Geo’s comprehensive data library. Thus, a connection is established between data sets, forming a basis for advanced analyses such as competitive analysis or segmentation.

Enrichment

NEXT GEO DATA LAYERS

Your company’s locations are enriched with Next Geo data layers such as demographic structure, income level, pedestrian traffic, and environmental amenities. Thus, the environmental potential and contextual features of each location are understood in more detail.

#### Accurate: removes what the list gets wrong

Deduplication and verification take out what your list already had wrong: repeated records, and missing or ambiguous addresses.

Deduplication

SMART FILTERING ALGORITHMS

Duplicate addresses or point repetitions in databases are detected and cleaned with location-based smart filtering algorithms. It increases data quality before analysis and guarantees the accuracy of the results.

Verification

MAP DATA · ADDRESS STANDARDS · FIELD

The accuracy of your company’s locations is verified by checking with map data, address standards, and field controls. Missing, incorrect, or ambiguous records are corrected; operational disruptions are minimized.

Usable. With both done, the list can go into an analysis — it can be brought to the map. The two groups are a reading order, not two packages: all four work on the same list. The four data layers in the right-hand column are the four the Enrichment row names, and 84,300 is the same figure as the ten-minute drive band on the home page.

BATCH SUMMARY Sample list · 1,240 rows SAMPLE

The ledger above follows a single row. This is what the same four operations look like at the end of a batch of a thousand.

1,107 + 37 = 1,144 unique points; 1,144 + 96 duplicates = the 1,240 rows received. Rows in manual review are not a failure but an output of verification: they are the “missing, incorrect, or ambiguous records”, and they are corrected.

MATCH CONFIDENCE · MANUAL REVIEW

#### When can you trust a match?

Matching ties untidy address strings to a standard address and a coordinate, and every row comes back carrying its own confidence score. A row whose score stays low is not forced: it is left ambiguous, with more than one candidate match, and sent to manual review. That is what the 37 rows in the batch summary above are.

Four rows of incoming address, matched address and confidence: 96%, 94% and 81% carry filled pink bars, while the last reaches only 31%, ambiguous across 14 candidate matches.

Matching — untidy address rows, matched points

The figures in the two documents above are illustrative; real output is produced from your own list, with the field names and data layers of the four operations above.

HOW WE START

### From your list to analysis-ready data.

Three steps. The input is your list and the output is your list; the four data operations sit in between.

Records on a map of Istanbul in two colours: those standing close to another in pink, isolated ones in lilac, the pink ones clustering on the historic peninsula and Beyoğlu.

The records of a single category, in two colours by how close they stand.

#### The list arrives as it stands

Customer lists, branch addresses or field records — in whatever shape you keep them. The one thing settled at this step is category: matching runs against points in the same category, so which category your points belong to is established up front.
