BRANCH AND ATM SITE REPORT Sample candidate point · Kadıköy, İstanbul SAMPLE

BRANCH — LOCATION SCORE

87 / 100

First of five candidate points.

Population, 10-min drive
84,300
Daytime population
High
Rival branches in catchment
6

ATM — AVERAGE MONTHLY TRANSACTIONS

18,500 – 23,000 transactions / month

For an ATM placed at the same point.

Your own customers in catchment
12,400
Rival ATMs, 5-min walk
6
Nearest branch of your own
400 m

The score comes from the population, daytime population, competition and access layers around the candidate point; no single layer decides it on its own. The estimate is a band rather than a single figure: the daytime population around the ATM, the density of your own geocoded customer addresses and the number of nearby rival ATMs are read together.

Sample output. Figures are illustrative. Real analyses are produced from your own branch, ATM and customer address lists.

BANKING

Where should the new branch go, how many transactions will an ATM see?

In the banking sector, the accuracy of branch and ATM locations is critical for customer satisfaction and bank profitability. Next Geo helps banks increase the efficiency of their branch and ATM networks with its powerful data infrastructure and AI-powered technologies.

The question has two halves — where, and how many — and the page answers them separately.

  • 4ANALYSIS TITLES
  • 3SOLUTION PAGES
  • 1PRODUCT PAGE

All three numbers can be counted from this page: the four analysis titles below, and the three solution pages and one product page they resolve into.

VALUES WE OFFER

Four analysis titles for banking.

The question printed on the Banking card on the Sectors page has two halves; this page has two columns. All four of the analysis titles resolve into a named Next Geo solution or product.

FIRST HALF OF THE QUESTION

Branch: where should it open?

Where a new branch should open, and which point in the existing network should be kept, relocated or merged.

  • SOLUTION · LOCATION AND AREA SELECTION

    Branch Location Selection

Identify the most accurate locations for your bank branches with Next Geo’s data analytics solutions and increase your access to potential customers.

    Location and Area Selection
  • SOLUTION · OPTIMIZATION

    Branch Network Optimization

    Optimization solution

SECOND HALF OF THE QUESTION

ATM: how many transactions?

How many transactions a given ATM point will see — and where the customers producing those transactions live and work.

  • SOLUTION · FORECASTING

    ATM Transaction Count Estimation

Gain powerful insights into the average transaction counts of your ATMs using our advanced forecasting algorithms. This allows you to optimize your ATM placement strategies.

  • PRODUCT · ADDRESS SOLUTIONS

    Geocoding Services

Standardize addresses and identify the nearest branches to customer addresses by converting your individual or corporate customers’ addresses into coordinates. This improves customer experience and increases operational efficiency.

    Address Solutions product

The Branch/ATM split is a reading order, not a separate product family: all four titles run on the same data infrastructure. Geocoding sits in the ATM column because how many transactions a point will see is calculated from customer addresses that have been turned into coordinates. The titles and their descriptions are the same ones listed on the Banking card on /en/sectors/.

THE SAME REPORT, FIVE CANDIDATES

What makes Kadıköy first?

The report at the top of the page was for a single candidate point. Run the same analysis across five candidates and the ranking comes out like this; the point in first place is the subject of that report.

  1. 01 Kadıköy 87 6 rival branches
  2. 02 Ataşehir 82 4 rival branches
  3. 03 Göztepe 79 3 rival branches
  4. 04 Bostancı 74 5 rival branches
  5. 05 Kozyatağı 68 2 rival branches

Sample ranking. Figures are illustrative. The score comes from the population, daytime population, competition and access layers around the candidate point, and no single layer decides it on its own. The second line on each tile is the number of rival bank branches in the same catchment — note that the highest score is not the one with the fewest rivals.

HOW WE START

From your branch list to that report.

Three steps. Behind each one is a named Next Geo solution or product; there is no surprise layer in between.

  1. 01

    Addresses become points

Your branch, ATM and customer address lists arrive as addresses; they are matched, de-duplicated and verified. As long as one point sits at the wrong coordinate, everything said about its surroundings is wrong.

    • De-duplication

  2. 02

    Context layers are attached

Population, daytime population, competition and access layers are attached to every point.

    • Competition
    • Access
  3. 03

Score, ranking and estimate come out

Candidate locations are ranked on a single score and a monthly average transaction estimate is produced for ATM points. Which existing branch to keep, relocate or merge is read from the same ranking.

OUTPUT OF STEP THREE · THE EXISTING NETWORK

Which branch stays, and which one moves?

The same ranking is applied to the network you already run. Every branch takes one of three marks — keep, relocate or close — and points whose catchments largely overlap are read next to their neighbour rather than on their own. What comes out is a scenario; the bank decides which branch closes.

Across a map of İstanbul spanning both shores of the Bosphorus, branches split three ways: 45 solid navy dots to keep, 26 pink dots to relocate and 23 hollow rings to close.

If you want to track where competitors open and close from period to period, the same infrastructure covers it: Next Geo’s Competition Report states that it follows competition across many sectors, banking first among them. And if your bank runs an insurance arm or an agency network, agency site selection is covered separately on the Insurance sector page.
